La puţin timp după ce a decapitat reptila, bucătarul a vrut să arunce capul acesteia, însă, în acel moment a fost muşcat de şapele ce nu murise încă.Deşi a fost transportat de urgenţă la spital, bucătarul a murit înainte de a-i putea fi administrat antidotul.
